People are starting to figure
out that the recent spade of virus attacks can be prevented by
using something other than Microsoft's mail client. On top of
this, there are lots of rumours floating about that Microsoft has
put Outlook Express into a holding pattern. Personally, I have a favorite that I think lots of
people should be using for their mail client on Windows. It's
simple, it's easy to use, and it works. Take it out for a spin.
This one is on tour and happened to be at the Lawrence Municipal
Airport which is north of Boston. They were apparently doing
flights as well, but I didn't have $400 to blow on that. Sadly, I
didn't actually get to see those four huge engines start up
because they weren't giving rides right around when I went down
there. I did, however, find out a little bit about the local EAA chapter. The next
time they have a meeting, I might have to go check them out.
