last instrument flying of the year

Tonight I went out to do my last instrument flying of the year.
There are few things as exciting as doing the ILS RWY
17 at MHT at 150mph right down to 200 feet over the ground.
You see the runway lights appear out of the gray gloom and you
realize exactly how close you are to the cold, hard earth. And
you're moving. Won't see that for another five or six months.
