			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I didn&#8217;t realize it but <a href="http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/">BSG</a> is on both <a href="http://www.time.com/time/arts/article/0,8599,1141640,00.html">Time&#8217;s Best of Television: 2005</a> and <a href="http://www.afi.com/tvevents/afiawards05/default.aspx">AFI&#8217;s TV Programs of the Year &#8211; Official Selections</a>.  But I&#8217;ll bet it will be panned when it comes around to Emmy time, because no one gives awards for sci-fi shows.  They can&#8217;t <em>possibly</em> be good or something.</p>
<p>Last night&#8217;s season 2.5 opener didn&#8217;t disappoint, either.  Compelling stories, great acting and well-developed characters. It&#8217;s the magical combination.</p>
