speaking at nylug

Another moment of shameless self-promotion.

I’ll be speaking tomorrow night at the NYLUG meeting about OLPC, Fedora and other related topics.  If you’re in the New York area, come and down and visit.  Should be a good time.

    Hey there,
Do you have any presentation materials on OLPC that I could crib from?
I’d like to make a presentation to the LUG up here in Fairbanks, as a first step towards finding people in the area interested in finding a way to contribute to the project. But since I’m a lazy bastard, I’d like to re-use as much presentation material as would be appropriate.

  3. Chris, it was great to see your presentation last night.

I’ve written a little bit about it on our blog (http://seeksift.wordpress.com/2007/02/28/one-laptop-per-child-hackers-wanted/), and I’ll help get the word out about contributing.

Are the slides of your talk available, either to download or link to? If yes, I’d like to add them to the blog post, if that’s ok with you.

Hey, wrote up my notes from the meeting here:

Would be happy if someone could correct the technical details I probably got wrong.
