The lack of sleep at first was pretty rough on me just because of the way that my body works. But my wife and I have worked out a sort-of shift schedule and now we can get longer chunks of sleep. She's up to sleeping 5-6 hours a night now and that gives us a break as well. But it's fun to watch her continue to learn. We celebrate even the simplest things - turning her head to follow a sound or looking at something farther and farther from her face. Getting her fist to her mouth on purpose.
