Hey…
I am not one to take credit when it is not due, but I wrote this. I’ve still got a rough draft circa 1995 in a journal, although I started it way before then.
I just lost most of my journals (20+ years worth–dude, I am so sad) in the recent Tennessee floods, but if you want to see a hand written copy (unfinished, but mostly there), please feel free to email me. I can tell you about all the changes I made during writing it, and why (if you know me, it all makes sense–I guess you had to be there).
I will say this….I am kind of a technophobe*(No, that does not mean I have a fear of house music), so if I take awhile to respond, I apologize in advance.

The only other explanation I can imagine for other various authors claiming this work as their own is some strange convergence of monkey telepathy that we humans have yet to decipher. Stranger things have happened….

I actually know the guy who wrote this as a simple email back in 1994, as a freshman at Polytechnic University and, everyone ended up forwarding the hell out of it.

His claim seems more believable than the one of those who claim authorship giving dates more recent than the oldest copy here on google groups :
