Thanks. Are you aware of temporary work arounds for this this, assuming I don’t have my own server. Also, what is the best way of knowing when this feature becomes available.

Thanks for developing this service. Will you please clarify, if my page can be made as an RSS feed, so I can share it with friends, and they can see if any of the feeds I put into my page are updated?

If not, please add this as a feature suggestion or help me understand why this is not how you envisioned the service.

Tomasz + Mukunda: I haven’t decided if I want to go down the open source route yet. I really want this site to succeed on principal and not be called the “open source XXX.” I like what Reddit did in this space. In truth, open source is in my blood, so there’s a good chance I will go down that road, but I’m not there quite yet. I’m also open to exploring commercial possibilities with whoisi as well, and I just want to keep my options open there as well. (Just not trying to hide anything on this front – transparency is best, IMHO!) That’s one of the reasons why the open data things is important to me. Because people are adding and tracking data at this point. And that’s not something that I think that I should ever take and hide away. Source code is one thing, but data is precious.

Ken: Glad I could help out! We’re making progress here. The site is still, in reality, alpha quality. Lots of blogs don’t work quite yet. I fix problems as I find them. Let me know if you find other issues.

I like it, Chris. Thanks the url owning issue fixed (helped me out!), and for putting up a really interesting service. I think this is another way to slice the pie, and it’s pretty fascinating. I do indeed like just hitting “Random Person”.

I think this will actually replace my own half-baked “Planet Ken” implementation; it’s actually marginally easier for me to update myself here, and it’s CERTAINLY easier for other people to update me if I forget something. *grin*

I’d like to second Benjamin’s offer to help develop features or perhaps optimize things further. Also, if you need some extra hosting resources I might have some cycles to spare – perhaps we could work out a distributed worker process that pre-processes the feeds for your server to import? That would surely take some of the load off! :)

Sorry if I duplicate what was said before. Adding links for someone profiles on net is nice. But I did it for few sites already for Mugshot! A way to import my (or others) Mugshot profile would be awesome.

This is really incridible. Really, really cool. But – sure there is a but – I had some problems with https (for launchpad) and I would like to be able to show the nice preview you have for flickr also for other services that contain images in the rss-feed (like dailymotion).

Is there any chance that someone can help you to develop small new features? Like a really good, what-he-did-last-on-launchpad and similar? I would be really interested in helping to develops such nice things.
