No one who’s ever read “Burning Bright” by Melissa Scott could possibly think we’ve taken video-on-the-web as far as it could conceivably go.

http://people.mozilla.com/~vladimir/demos/photos.svg is only the beginning.

Personally, I can’t wait, and I only hope I live long enough to see it start.

That, and that people aren’t stupid enough to explode the planet before it happens.

Firefox 3.5 supports open video formats…

The new Firefox 3.5 now supports open video formats. What does this mean ? Firefox now supports Theora, which is a truly free and open video format for the internet. This means that we would have to do away with proprietary plugins or restricted codecs…

Thank you all for this great important work, 2 or 3 generations down the road they will enjoy video and audio open-source applications on the net , let’s hope they can read that it was because in the old 2009-2010’s , some people made the extra effort, the real push….Thanks.

About Net Neutrality, and with the actual FCC and Congress , i just don’t see it, i see only a few big Monopolies controlling everything and D.C. looking lost in the Campaign Money Trail….what a criminal shame !

Again thanks because your work keeps choices alive and well, options like 3D and holograms still have a chance to grow for all……to lift everybody, what a concept !
