How about supporting the various passive FPR (Fixed Patterned Retarder) displays that have been out for a while (eg. Zalman and LG PC monitors, various laptops)? These only require a horizontal interlacing of the two views. And of course all the other types YouTube already supports, eg. anaglyph, checkerboard etc.

I would very much like to see full stereoscopic support in HTML5 asap. That includes a 'depth' property for text. I'm a stereo artist & developer - I'm keen to develop an entirely stereoscopic website (including video, images and text), including some compositing of elements. Full HTML5 stereo support, across browsers, can't come soon enough for me.

[Excuse the thread digging. Pet Peeve Alert!]

Words have meanings. CO2 is a green house gas but it's not a pollutant. Calling CO2 a pollutant is like calling water and sunshine pollutants. Water, sunshine or a peanut can kill but they are not pollutants.

There might be good reasons to curb the production of CO2 (or H2O for that matter) but don't call them pollutants just to engender public sympathy from dolts who skipped science class. What's next? Call it Nazi gas? Commie fumes?

I'm not quite sure you'll get this, but I'm getting desperate.

After much research I'm still at a loss for the best way to embed a web browser in a GTK application. I have a Gtk::Layout (GtkLayout in C) in which I would like to place a web browser with no end user navigation outside of following links within the page displayed (i.e. no toolbars, status bars, file menu, etc...). The web pages specifically are written using the ExtJS framework with PHP controllers.

I tried using Gecko, but I keep running into dead ends saying "Use XUL for all new embedding!" and then I find no way of embedding XUL in my GtkLayout. So I tried your gtkmozembed widget which is incompatible with Gtk+ 3 and I'd rather not rewrite your code for a simple web browser ( not even a full browser, just a window! ) Is there any chance you still maintain any of this, or know anyone who does, or know how to embed XUL into a gtk widget, or have ANY suggestions? If so I would greatly appreciated it.

I've posted a stackoverflow question with more details if you're interested...
